Kill Senator Muppy Doo is the eighth main mission in High on Life 2 if you picked it after Larry Pinkstock. Get ready to check out all sorts of conventions like PoliCon, MurderCon, and plenty more. You’ll also unlock a new Gatlian buddy during this mission. Continue reading our complete walkthrough for tips and how to win an especially unique boss fight.

Steal a Catalytic Converter For the RV

The first step takes us back downtown to the City Plaza as usual. Before we can head to ConCon, where Senator Muppy Doo is giving a speech, we’ll need to get a catalytic converter. Since this isn’t just any old catalytic converter, you’ll have to search for a specific one.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 1.jpg

Using your Info Scanner and/or map, you’ll see it’s across town next to the Krust Theatre. This is also near the Rhea Pharmaceutical building, which looks like a giant pill with a purple top. A little before heading up the steps to Rhea, turn to your left, and you’ll see an auto shop.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 2.jpg

Right outside the auto shop is a yellow vehicle with three parts you can grab. Despite the part in the trunk being the one we need, Gene will still make you grab all three. You’ll find the one in the trunk and two underneath the car. After grabbing the Catalytic Converter, the alarm will trigger, and an employee will call for security.

Fortunately, there aren’t too many enemies to deal with. After defeating the incoming security, Gene will land the RV right next to the shop. Hop inside and you’ll get a loading screen that transports you just outside of ConCon. Unfortunately, ParkingCon is so chaotic that you’ll need to leap out of the RV and fly down to the ground.

Avoid any cars that get in your way while falling down to ParkingCon. You won’t have to worry about dodging too many cars since it’s mostly a safe freefall. And even if you do bump into one, it won’t be enough to kill you.High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 3.jpg

Infiltrate ParkingCon and Find a Parking Spot

Upon landing, you’ll get a short objective to survive ParkingCon. Most of the enemies you’ll immediately encounter don’t have armor here. This makes for an easier time compared to other fights we’ve had. Try not to spend too long fighting at the start, since our next goal is to find a parking spot for Gene.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 4.jpg

Continue forward until you reach the enclosed parking garage, and then look to the right side, before it. You’ll find a glowing red parking spot here with enemies blocking the area. Clear them out so Gene can attempt to land the RV there. After doing so, the area will change from red to green, and a message will say, “[Spot Cleared]” right before someone steals it.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 5.jpg

Turn back around and head back to the area where we initially landed. You’ll find a parking spot a few floors up inside the side of a building. A good way to notice it is to look for the RV floating nearby. And then to get there, you can ride a zipline up to it.

You’ll find someone here who says they have dibs on the parking spot. Since we’ve already broken the bounty hunter code, it shouldn’t be that much worse to break the rule of dibs. Walk into the chair to push it out of the parking spot. Unfortunately for us, Gene manages to lose yet another parking spot to someone stealing it.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 6.jpg

The next parking space is across from the first one we previously cleared. This puts it to the left of the enclosed parking garage. Clear out the parking security here so Gene can make one more attempt to park at ParkingCon. After failing again, it’s time to leave ParkingCon and get back to the mission!

Once you’re ready to escape ParkingCon, use the RV that stole the last parking spot. You can grind over the top of it to get onto the parking garage roof. Afterward, continue through the medical area through a tent labeled AidCon.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 7.jpg

Instead of having an easy time getting to Policon, we’ll need to do some parkouring because the tram service is experiencing issues. Before leaping off the platform to a MurderCon billboard, a man explains that it’s not his fault Tap to Reveal. You can ask him a few questions about ConCon or continue forward.

Get to PoliCon

As you make your way toward PoliCon, you’ll need to wall ride the MurderCon billboard. After that, you can grind railings and bounce on Muppy Doo inflatables to get there. Once you’re outside of PoliCon, you’ll need to find a way to get inside.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 8.jpg

If you’re not sure where to go, head to the convention’s entrance. You’ll instead need to take a service elevator to the right of it. Even though the elevator operator says it’s broken. Continuing our trend of breaking the rules in High on Life 2, jump past them into the elevator. After the elevator drops down getting stuck, follow the operator’s instructions to continue. While there’s likely some wiggle room, here they are:

Hold down the elevator button to go up until they tell you to press the down button simultaneously. Since we can’t do that, let go and tap the bottom one. Use Knifey to open the electrical panel on the other side. The operator directs you to tap the button once and then press it again after 20 seconds. Ignoring the operator, count to 20 seconds on your own and then tap it.Find Hall H Using Lugblobs

After fixing the elevator successfully, ride it down to the bottom and head out. You’ll come across several dead bodies and hear from the alien we met on the way to ParkingCon. Before continuing, we’ll need to unlock the door up ahead. Since there are two glowing red cables leading away from the door, we’ll need two Lugblobs.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 9.jpg

The first Lugblob is easy to find since they’re to the left of the locked door. You’ll get a tooltip here that mentions inflating the Lugblob, but you don’t need to. In order to find the second one, you can hop on any nearby crates and then double jump to the next floor.

You’ll see a Power Pad here that we need to get the second Lugblob to. Continue up the wall following the orange slime. Since we can’t double jump to the next ledge, you’ll have to grapple to the glowing ledge on the left.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 10.jpg

Once you get the second Lugblob, be careful not to drop it down to the bottom. This is because we need to get it onto the Power Pad, which is only one floor below us, in the middle. You can jump from the ledge to the middle floor without letting go of the Lugblob.

After getting through the locked door, you’ll start to hear Senator Muppy Doo speaking in Hall H. As Suit-O and Lizzie warn, don’t try to take him out here. If you do, a Death Laser will activate and kill you. Instead, ride your skateboard off the small ramp leading to more Muppy Doo inflatables.

You’ll have to do a combination of bouncing off the inflatables and wall riding to make it to the other side. Eventually, you’ll get to a hole in the wall above an inflatable with a red light highlighting it.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 11.jpg

Disable Hall H Security

Before going after Senator Muppy Doo, we’ll need to disable Hall H’s security. Otherwise, that Death Laser protecting him will simply vaporize us from existence. We’ll need to find another two Lugblobs for the Power Pads near the security system.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 12.jpg

As usual with getting past any Lugblob-related door, look for orange slime to track them down. One path leads up a nearby wall that we can’t quite reach the ledge of. And the second one leads through a spinning fan.

Use Sweezy’s Time Bubble ability to slow down the fan blades so we can walk through. This leads to a small room with rotating exhaust panels. If you haven’t already interacted with these before, you can use Gus’s vacuum suction to rotate the panel. This will reveal hotwalls that you can fire Gus’s discs at to climb up the wall.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 13.jpg

Once you reach the second hotwall, skateboard jump across or use Gus to vacuum the Lugblob down. Then, drop back down below and carry the Lugblob through the fans after Time Bubbling them. Before placing the Lugblob on the Power Pad, use them to reach the other one.

You’ll have to place them below the opening and then use Sweezy’s Time Bubble to inflate them. Then, bounce off the Lugblob’s head to reach the ledge. Once you have both Lugblobs, place them on each of the security system’s Power Pads. Then, hop through the floor opening between the two Power Pads.

Tips For Fighting ?????

Just before we’re able to kill Senator Muppy Doo, he escapes, and we’re stuck fighting the mysterious alien from earlier. All we know is that he was also trying to take out Muppy Doo, and he’s not happy we stopped him from doing so.

This fight is a little simpler than other boss fights we’ve had since he doesn’t have many attacks. You’ll mainly have to watch out for his burst fire as he dashes and flies around the room. He typically tries to shoot ahead of you in the direction you’re going. Knowing this will help you dodge his projectiles unless you want to hide behind cover instead.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 15.jpg

If you get hit a lot, there are a few floating metal balls here with shield capsules inside them. You can shoot them or grapple toward them to break each one. Fortunately, they do respawn over time. For more information about this boss’s attacks, check out the table below:

?????’s Attacks
Basic Burst Fire
Shoots a few projectiles at you often throughout the fight. He can do this from both the ground and the air.
Melee Slash
Swipes forward with his sword at you. There’s a short window to dodge away when he does this. Later into the fight, he can do this from the air as well.
Electrifies the Floor
Shoots a spear into a nearby panel, electrifying the ground. Jump onto anything nearby to avoid taking damage and then shoot the spear to disable it.

Sheath

Upon defeating the mysterious assassin, he impales himself on a flag. Interacting with him leads to Travis convincing him to help us take down Muppy Doo. We also learn here that his name is Sheath. To get Sheath’s help going forward, we’ll have to precisely decapitate him.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 16.jpg

After interacting with his body a few more times, we’ll get him as a new weapon in our arsenal. As he explains, before we can exit Hall H, we’ll have to lower that big wall impeding us. Using his electric spike ability, we can connect power junctions and amplifiers to complete certain puzzles. In this case, while facing the wall, you’ll see one junction to the left, two amplifiers on the wall, and another junction to the right.

If you ever need to reset while completing a puzzle like this, you can shoot the spike to send it back. For help understanding how to do it, start from the left and connect to each node to the right.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 17.jpg

Defeat the Security Guards and Chase After Senator Muppy Doo

After getting past the big stage wall, a little more than a handful of guards will attack. This makes for a good time to try out Sheath in combat. He has an accurate burst fire that you can also aim to use. Regardless of whether or not you use your red dot sight, putting an enemy inside your crosshair tends to work well.

Once you get past security, exit Hall H, where you’ll run into a locked door. Similar to the large wall from before, we’ll need to use Sheath’s electric spike to connect junctions and amplifiers. The main difference in this room is that there’s a stack of rotatable blocks. You can shoot them to adjust the position of each amp so they’re within sight of the junction.

A good way to solve this part is to have both amplifiers facing toward the wall that the locked doors are on. Then, you can start with the junction near the right door, connect it to the top block amp, then the lower block amp, and finally the junction by the left door.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 18.1.jpg

After unlocking the door, hop into the elevator and tap the down button to continue. Chase after Muppy Doo while dealing with the guards he summons from his fanny pack. You’ll also see him shrink to a tiny size for the first time to escape.

Since Muppy Doo’s guards don’t have armor, it’ll feel similar to fighting the Button’s Gluttons. The best way to defeat them is often as simple as aiming for their heads and using abilities. Once you’ve dealt with all of them, Sheath will chime in to explain how his ability works for making ziplines too.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 19.jpg

When leaving the PoliCon island, there’s a pink junction on a vehicle to the right. You can connect from here to two more floating balls using Sheath’s spike. After doing so, grapple to the zipline and take it to the end. Continuing along the platforms leads to our next convention, MurderCon.

Sign Up For MurderCon

Once you reach the MurderCon island, head inside and sign up to take part in the event. Similar to other drawings we’ve made in High on Life 2, don’t be surprised if this reappears elsewhere! After signing the waiver at the ticket booth, you can find a Luglox inside above the booth. It has an upgrade for Sheath named Kill-Coils.

Once you’re ready, continue onward below the MurderCon logo to start the event. After a moment, the doors will open, revealing a foggy arena full of contestants. Slay enemies to get points and pay attention to the announcer for when you can get double points for certain kills. For example, they’ll announce a Melee Round where you’ll get two points instead of one for melee kills. Once you get enough points to pass Brutus on the leaderboard at the top right, he’ll come fight you.

Tip From Guide Writer Jeffrey

Finding enemies through the fog can be difficult during MurderCon, but there is a trick to spotting them more easily. I like to use the Info Scanner here since it highlights the environment and any enemies inside it. So if you’re having trouble spotting someone, this is worth doing! High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 21.1.jpg

Tips For Fighting Brutus

Brutus mostly fights using a ball and chain that you can parry using Knifey. If you can reliably pull off the timing, you’ll temporarily stun him. This is a good way to deal damage to the skull on his back if you want to remove his helmet. Otherwise, you won’t be able to deal any damage to his head.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 22.1.jpg

If you’re taking a beating during this fight, you can eliminate other competitors to get shield capsules. And if you need to heal, there are plenty of walls to hide behind temporarily. Just be careful when going to other floors to get away from Brutus since he can grapple to you.

Brutus’s Attacks
Overhead Ball Chain Attack
Swings his ball and chain over his head before slamming it down a short distance forward. You can parry this attack or dodge out of the way.
Spinning Black Chain Attack
Spins the ball and chain above his head, starting close before reaching farther out. You can parry this attack or try to get far away.
Leaping Ball Chain Attack
Does a small jump into the air before slamming his ball and chain down in front of him. You can parry this or dodge to the side.
Charging Attack
If you’re far from Brutus, he can charge across the room to hit you. He can do this with or without his helmet.
Meat Shield
Grabs other contestants to use as a meat shield, protecting him.

Brutus

Follow Muppy Doo to HumanCon

After defeating Brutus, we can leave MurderCon through the door with a bright green exit sign above it. Now we have to make our way through a couple of minor ConCon conventions to get to HumanCon. Upon exiting MurderCon, get back to riding walls and grinding railings. Eventually, you’ll run into a new enemy that sort of looks like a nose spewing a hose of vomit or snot.

By this point, you’ll have to use Sheath’s electric spike ability to create a zipline outside HumanCon. Look for a rotatable exhaust on the back of a vehicle. If you forgot what to do with this panel, you can use Gus to rotate it and see what’s inside. While it isn’t a Luglox, it is a pink junction for Sheath. Connect this junction to a metal ball across the gap, where a Gessie inflatable is.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 23.1.jpg

If you noticed a junction a little before this, that one leads to two metal balls you can connect to. This isn’t the way forward, but it does bring you to a Luglox with Comic Book Page 5+6 inside. Otherwise, once you cross the zipline, you’ll find Muppy Doo before he escapes yet again. Take out his guards before solving a mini Lugblob puzzle.

The next cool bit we learn here about Luglobs is how versatile they can be. Aside from charging Power Pads, they also function as moveable junctions. That means you can pick one up and move it to the perfect spot for making a connection. In this case, we have to connect a nearby junction to the Lugblob and then to the truck’s junction.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 24.1.jpg

Making a connection with Sheath’s electric spike will reveal a pink junction on the back of the vehicle. You can then use that to make a zipline to the floating metal ball toward HumanCon. After hopping off the zipline, use the inflatable heads to continue onward.

Enter HumanCon and Find Senator Muppy Doo

Before you can enter HumanCon, you’ll have to complete a little electric spike puzzle to open the front door. The first thing we recommend is to get the Lugblob off of a nearby tower. As a tooltip immediately hints, you can use Gus to vacuum the Lugblob down. Then, as we recently learned, we can use the Lugblob as a junction.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 25.1.jpg

After getting the Lugblob down, you’ll have to rotate the two block towers in the center. This is so we can create a linear connection between the junction, first amp, second amp, then Lugblob, and finally the door junction.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 26.1.jpg

Once the HumanCon door is open, make your way inside. Since there isn’t a clear path through, walk directly into the crowd to trigger a short cutscene. This leads to what starts as a basic fight with Muppy Doo to a very unique one.

Tips For Fighting Senator Muppy Doo

Since Muppy Doo is far from a fighter, you can expect to see him keep running away even in this small enclosed area. Instead of fighting him, you’ll have to keep defeating guards as he summons them. He’ll frequently become small, leaving a visible trail where he runs away to. Then, he’ll spawn three guards or one if you manage to shoot him.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 27.1.jpg

While most High on Life 2 bosses have a bunch of different attacks we detail in a table, Muppy Doo only really has one. If you get close to him while he’s tiny and running, he can punch you. Otherwise, use the many pillars around this area for cover if you take too many hits. And if you need to recharge your shield, the guards have a chance to drop shield capsules.

The interesting part of this boss fight starts once you’ve completely drained the fannypack’s health bar. At this point, Muppy Doo flees into the fanny pack. Pick it up to trigger the next phase of this battle!

Fanny Pack

Fighting Muppy Doo During the Second Phase

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 28.1.jpg

After picking up the fanny pack, Muppy Doo climbs onto your arm and gets inside your suit’s operating system. Instead of battling him with your Gatlian guns, search your pause menu to find him. If it turns out that you actually do have to pause, you can press the pause button a second time to see a static version of the menu.

Upon pausing for the first time, you’ll see that Suit-O has been tied up and gagged. Pressing the reload button will shake him loose. Then, you can use him to fight Muppy Doo. Listening to Suit-O reveals that Muppy Doo is somewhere inside your Inventory. Whenever he switches to a different part of your pause menu, you may see him run there or shake the word for that area.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 29.1.jpg

Just be careful to not beat up your Gatlian buddies as he starts messing with them. In one playthrough, he started with the Weapons tab of the Inventory section. Then, he started running on the pause screen before shifting to the System settings. Once you spot him, be sure to punch him as much as you can with Suit-O before he retreats elsewhere.

While inside the System settings, we noticed him under Audio by Gun Chatter. Then, he retreated to the General settings and attacked the Text Language option. Finally, he went right after the system BIOS, completely taking over the suit. This leads to a screen where the system’s vitals are visible. Muppy Doo begins shoving the Bullet Damage slider to the left to make it zero.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 30.1.jpg

You’ll need to fight him by dragging it against him. But a fun trick you can do here is to drag in the same direction he’s going to make him fall. If you’re fast enough, you can then pull the bar toward him before he gets up to knock him over again.

He’ll eventually give up on the sliders and move to the factory reset button. While you can wait for more dialogue, you do have to confirm the factory reset. Upon resetting, it’ll reboot to the game Bible Adventures. For those on PC, you can use WASD to move through the menu and K to select. This part is short-lived, so you don’t have to do much, but you can use JKL and your mouse buttons on PC as well.

High on Life 2 Senator Muppy Doo 31.1.jpg

After a brief moment, Suit-O will begin talking and take over, snapping you back to reality. Since you haven’t beaten Muppy Doo yet and he’s now headed directly for your brain, you’ll have to do something extreme. You’ll need to hit Muppy Doo by stabbing yourself in the face using Knifey, while playing a clone of the original Donkey Kong.

During this segment, Suit-O will help you by rolling heads toward Muppy Doo. These can stun him to make it easier to stab him. The best way to learn where to hit is to do test stabs first and adjust from there. You can also try to aim for the ladders that Muppy Doo uses.

Muppy Doo

Upon hitting Muppy Doo, you’ll drop to the floor and faint as the RV comes to pick you up. This officially completes the mission, Kill Senator Muppy Doo, and returns us to the Get Briefed mission. If you chose this bounty first, you’ll then move on to Kill Billionaire Larry Pinkstock next. Otherwise, after finishing up Get Briefed, you’ll transition to Explore And Rest Up.
