We’re approaching the end of the 12th Capcom Pro Tour. The finale of this circuit, Capcom Cup 12, is scheduled to begin on March 11 and last through March 15, 2026.
At this point, we know the 48 competitors that have qualified to compete at the Capcom Cup 12 finale. One of these players will be taking home $1,000,000 as the first place prize.
Late last night, Capcom streamed the player group drawings. Players within each group will have to compete against one another in a miniature double elimination bracket in order to earn the right to continue into other phases.
From each of these groups, two players will advance while the other two get eliminated. The group winners will advance to phase three while the runner ups go into phase two.
This second phase will form four new groups made up of three players. Within these groups, these competitors will compete against one another in round-robin brackets to determine the four the advance into the third phase.
At last, the third phase will be a single-elimination, first-to-five bracket made up of the remaining 16 players.
