The Scoria Reach update has brought three new rods to Fisch that have some of the coolest designs till now. Cerebra Rod has a cute pink syringe look, the Daybreaker Rod has small golden butterflies, and the Igneous Rupturer Rod has a similar aura to the Ruinous Oath Rod. In this guide, learn how to get the Igneous Rupturer Rod in Fisch, and check out all of its stats.

How to Get the Igneous Rupturer Rod in Fisch

The Igneous Rupturer can be obtained at the Scoria Reach island in Fisch, but it has a multi-step progression system. Make sure you follow all the steps as we have shown below:

Go to Scoria Reach and Complete the Bestiary

The first task is to travel to the Scoria Reach island, which is fairly easy to locate when your POI headers are turned on. It is far behind The Laboratory at these coordinates -4806, 138, -1368, and you can use the Fisch GPS to locate it.

Go to Scoria Reach and Complete the Bestiary

Once there, your next task is to complete the Scoria Reach bestiary, which means catch all the new fishes and collect all items found on this island. Needless to say, you will require the Scoria Armor to survive the heat on this island.

Farm Lava Clams for Pearls and Go to Scoria Mines for Fragments

While you’re trying to complete the bestiary and even after fishing everywhere, there can be a few slots that are yet to be unlocked. These might be because of the pearls and fragments that you have not found just yet.

At the first lava pool, past the Scoria Guard, you can fish using the Coal bait to get Lava Clams. These clams are the key to giving you a variety of pearls, which are required to activate the Igneous Altar (more on this later).

Go to Scoria Mines for Fragments in Fisch

Once you have enough pearls, head to the Scoria Mines. This area is located just to the right of the Scoria Guard NPC. Use the elevator to go down, and there you’ll find a bunch of dancing crabs. Give them the pearls, and the crabs will start mining. After five minutes, the crab will offer you the rewards from mining, and there is a small chance that you get one of the three fragments – Sulfur, Infernal, and Obsidian.

Interact with Scoria Guard NPC

Having completed the whole bestiary of Scoria Mines, you can head back to the Scoria Guard NPC and interact with him now. He will ask you to place pearls on the Crag-Crab Altar (also known as the Igneous Altar). After that, you can place all three fragments on the pedestals scattered across the island.

Finally, after completing these two tasks, you can wear the Scoria Armour, head inside the volcano, and fish there to open a secret chamber where the Igenous Rupturer rod is located.

Activate the Igneous Altar and Place All Fragments

The next step is to activate the Igneous Altar at the Scoria Reach before you place the fragments. Here, you can find a total of 11 pearl sockets right under the crab.

Activate the Igneous Altar and Place All Fragments

The four big pearls above can be found on the Scoria Reach island. Whereas the seven ones at the bottom can be found at other locations, most commonly at Roslit Bay. So, you need to find the following pearls to place in these sockets:

Ashy, Sulfur, Obsidian, and Igneous Pearls at the top.

Pearl, Gilded, Rose, Mauve, Deep, Aurora, and the Golden Sea Pearl at the bottom.

You can simply hold the pearl in your hand, stand on the orange circle, and press the ‘E‘ key to sacrifice it and place it on the altar. Once done, you can place the three fragments at the following locations on Scoria Reach:

Sulfur Fragment: Beside the first lava pool at -5181, 160, -1187

Infernal Fragment: Top of the volcano at -5607, 262, -1731

Obsidian Fragment: Beside the Infernal Isonade abundance at -5642, 163, -1685

Fish Inside Scoria Volcano

Finally, after completing all the above steps, you must go inside the Scoria Volcano and fish there wearing the Scoria Armor and using the Daybreaker Rod.

This will open up a secret cavity under the central area, where you can jump down and find the Igenous Rupturer Rod selling for 5,000,000C$. One important warning is that the moment you make the purchase, the platform will disappear, and you’ll fall straight into the lava.
