This guide will show you how to unlock the B.A.L.L. gun in High on Life 2, the only optional weapon in the game.
How to Unlock B.A.L.L.
B.A.L.L. is one of the weapons from the original High on Life’s High On Knife DLC, and it makes a return here. However, you must find all three of the little blue guys that power it. One of them can be found relatively early on, but the other two require a decent amount of story progression.
B.A.L.L Guy Locations
Circuit Arcadia

The B.A.L.L. Guy in Circuit Arcadia is tied to a sidequest that isn’t marked on the map. Head slightly north from the central fast travel point and you’ll find a man next to a broken Taxi. Talk to him, and then accept his request to help deliver people in his stead.
While this quest is active, you can find people waving with a flag above their head as you roam around Circuit Arcadia. After you pick them up, you have a short amount of time to take them to their destination, also marked with a flag icon. Take too long and they’ll die, though for the purpose of the quest it doesn’t seem to matter if you let this happen to at least one customer.
Deliver enough passengers and you can return to the taxi driver, who’ll give you one final request to take him to Rhea Plaza. You’re given a lot of time, even if you don’t have access to any of the dash upgrades. Finish this final task all you’ll get one of the B.A.L.L. Guys.
Circuit Arcadia Zoo

Before heading to Circuit Arcadia Zoo, go to Pinkline Harbor. At the part where the river meets the sea, you’ll encounter a man in need of help. His boat is stuck, so use Travis’s ability to free it. As a reward, you’ll get a fishing rod. Not only is this what you need to fill the aquarium at your base, it’s also the tool you need to free one of the B.A.L.L. Guys.
In Circuit Arcadia Zoo, go all the way south. There, you’ll find a fishing spot (if you have the right place, you’ll get some lines of dialogue to confirm it.)

Fishing is a little awkward in High on Life 2, as you don’t really have a way of making specific fish bite. Just keep catching fish until you hook one of the gold ones, and it should hopefully be the second B.A.L.L. Guy you need.
Pinkline Harbor
The final B.A.L.L. Guy is in Pinkline Harbor, but it requires Bowie first – he’s part of the main story, like the other Gatlians. Once you have him, head to Liquid Nights at the south of Pinkline Harbor. Use Bowie’s ability to open the door, and then head into the club.

Inside, you can talk to the DJs to initiate a dance battle. It’s a basic rhythm game that doesn’t require perfect timing, similar to the one you briefly have to do during the main story. If you do well enough, you’ll get the last B.A.L.L. Guy. Before leaving, it’s also worth grabbing one of the six collectible arcade games if you haven’t already.
With all B.A.L.L. Guys collected, head back to base. Near the fridge with your wanted poster is a pet carrier with the B.A.L.L. weapon on top. Interact with it to unlock High on Life 2’s seventh and final weapon, along with the B.A.L.L In The Family achievement.
