I have been grinding S1 and S2 tournament camos from construct rewards (since I took break from CODM during that time) since camo crates came in construct rewards, I think 11 months.
And this is my experience: I got almost every camo (Red Sprite Kilobolt is missing) of pistol, shotguns and marksman from those crates. Constantly for months. Literally 34 Red Sprite camos are left – all are from classes I use, and it may not seem much but only old weapons are available in those crates.
And now I am absolutely pissed that I am getting duplicates of those. I opened 8 randoms, 3 were from S1 and S2, I had one duplicate pistol crate S1 from last season 1200 token crate.
What the f? Now here is THE idea. I can switch to other season and start getting camos pistols and shotguns for Magma or other season or waste my tokens in hope that I get Red Sprite for an AR or waste opportunity in getting any kind of camo at all.
Every crate has equal odds but if I have completed 3 categories, then there is 50% chance even mathematically that I will get one of those, and considering my luck of just completing those categories first – I am sure odds are way worse. Why in world they couldn't just clump all camos together and let the dice roll? I don't mind randomness of it, but duplicates is disgusting.
