Similar to High on Life, there is a secret ending to discover in High on Life 2. However, unlike in the original game, it is possible access High on Life 2’s secret ending very early on. This guide explains how to get the secret ending near the start of the game, and what you need to do to find it. It also details the relevant achievement awarded for accessing the secret ending.
How to Get the Secret Ending in High on Life 2
To get the secret ending in High on Life 2, you must first progress through the zoo and reach the Aviary building during the ‘Find and Rescue Lizzie’ mission objective. The Aviary is the large burning building that you encounter next to the father and son chatting outside, and you will have to scale the nearby cliffs and make a platform using Gus’ Disc Shot ability to enter.
Once you have found your sister Lizzie in the middle of the Aviary, she will get ambushed by a group of bounty hunters. At this point, you are supposed to help her take out the bounty hunters and escape, obtaining the Break the Bounty Code achievement for defeating your own kind and launching what is effectively the first boss fight with Tap to Reveal.
Instead of killing the bounty hunters, shoot Lizzie to get the secret ending, initiating a short credit roll, as pictured below.
You can only shoot Lizzie once, as your guns won’t let you if you try again. Triggering the secret ending also unlocks ‘The Good Ending’ hidden achievement, effectively beating the game in record time!
