SwinGo Cup 2026 is another event on China’s soil which will be played online, but features many of the best players from Asia overall.
Notable players participating include 2G|Blaz, Falcons|Xiaohai, Zeta|Higuchi, Scarz|Kincho, PWS|DCQ, 8BD|Vxbao, DFM|Itabashi Zangief, 8BD|Zhen, Reject|Hinao, CR|Tachikawa, KG|HotDog29, T1|OilKing, GG|Xian, Reject|Akira, Falcons|Chris Wong, Yesports|Rainpro, ESAHK|Micky, CAG|Eita, SOOP|Armperor, Riddle|Jr. and many more.
This is a special event featuring mostly invited players from different methods.
2G|Blaz seems to have received his invitation due to his victory at last week’s GTW New Year Championship while many Japanese players also received official invites.
Some players were invited based on their performances in previous SwinGo events and 16 slots were decided based on leaderboard points from previous events as well as placements in general qualifiers.
Now, players have been divided into two groups, the A group and the B group, and will battle it out in single-elimination format and first-to-5 sets, where the top 4 from each group advance.
The finals will then be played out in a top 8 format.
Streaming is being done at KuaiShou Gaming.
