Riot Games finally hit 2XKO’s full release in January over six years since its initial tease, but the competitive community for the game has already been present for a while.

Frosty Faustings XVIII marked the first post-launch major offline tournament for 2XKO where more than 850 players signed up, but how are the top competitors feeling about the game now that it’s complete?

Mael “Wade” Jomie made the long trip over from France for 2XKO last weekend where he placed 3rd in the duos event with Noka and 13th in the main event.

Wade is of course most well known as one of the best Dragon Ball FighterZ players in the world having been runner up twice at the World Tour Finals though he’s been spending the time lately and topping tournaments with the League of Legends fighter since the Alpha Lab tests.

Following the major, Wade put together a tier list of 2XKO tournament team combinations.

He placed a total of seven teams in his “best” category where they all at least contained Yasuo, Ekko, Ahri or some combination of the three with Teemo, Illaoi and Vi showing up too.

As for his own team of Ekko plus Warwick, they ended up at the top of the “broken” tier right below the best.

While he doesn’t rank all of the possible team combinations, the world-class competitor feels that all of the ones he did place are at least good for tournaments.

Frosty Faustings champion ONi|Bleed also put together his own 2XKO tier lists after the event too, which shows some interesting differences in opinion between the two.
