Hey guys, my first post in here, so I'm completely new to the world of overclocking, but I'm thinking about overclocking my RAM to 3600MHz. My current specs are these:
Motherboard: Asus Prime A520M-K
Processor: Ryzen 7 5700g
Graphics: Vega 8
2x8gb ddr4 3000mhz Crucial Ballistix (BL8G30C15U4R)
I was thinking of following the settings in this video right here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUGVpeICFz8
It's not exactly the same RAM model, and the video is in Brazilian Portuguese, my native language, but the settings are in English, so I don't think it matters much. Actually, I'm translating this post with Google Translate, so I apologize for any errors.
My biggest concern is memory overheating. From what I've seen, 1.4v is normal, but I wanted to be sure it would work just fine. Here where I live it's relatively hot, sometimes reaching around 30 degrees Celsius so I don't know.
Well, in general I wanted to know if you guys would recommend any configuration different from the one in the video (and why). If you need any specific data from my system, please tell me how to obtain it and I will send it here if possible. Thanks =)
