Mataoui said it felt as though the current executives “don’t understand their social responsibility to employees,” adding that workers should be able to elect those responsible for overseeing the company.

The respondents also expressed reservations about Ubisoft’s recently revealed return-to-office policy, pointing out that many of the company’s employees had moved away and probably can’t afford to live in the Paris area.

Ubisoft recently announced major restructuring, resulting in changes to its release schedule and the establishment of new divisions.
