WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Gray Media announced the continuation and expansion of Gray’s partnership with the Kansas City Royals that will allow fans to watch 10 home games over the air (on local TV).

For fans throughout Kansas in 12 News’ wide coverage area, this means that they’ll be able to watch these games on either KWCH or on the KSCW.

The March 30 home opener against the Minnesota Twins will be on KWCH with the nine other home offerings to be determined as to whether they’ll be on KWCH or KSCW. Either way, fans will be able to watch all 10 games on a local channel.

The over-the-air slate available for the 2026 season through Gray’s partnership with the Royals includes:

· March 30 – vs. Minnesota Twins (Home Opener): 6:30 p.m. — KWCH

· April 3 – vs. Milwaukee Brewers: 6:30 p.m. — TBA

· April 24 – vs. Los Angeles Angels: 6:30 p.m. — TBA

· May 22 – vs. Seattle Mariners: 6:30 p.m. — TBA

· June 12 – vs. Houston Astros: 7 p.m. — TBA

· June 19 – vs. St. Louis Cardinals: 7 p.m. — TBA

· July 17 – vs. San Diego Padres: 7 p.m. – TBA

· August 7 – vs. Chicago Cubs: 7 p.m. — TBA

· August 21 – vs. Detroit Tigers: 7 p.m. — TBA

· September 7 – vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (Labor Day): 1 p.m. — TBA

“We want to build those connections with fans, and we’re thrilled they can continue to access our games on cable, streaming, and local TV,” said Royals President Cullen Maxey in part in a news release announcing the partnership.
