Anna Williams, Fahkumram, Armor King and Miary Zo have all been released for Tekken 8 as part of the Season 2 Character Pass. As such, it’s now time to start thinking about Season 3 content for Tekken 8.
Though Katsuhiro Harada announced his sudden departure from Bandai Namco, he promised to attend the Tekken World Tour 2025 Finals. Additionally, Bandai Namco has reaffirmed their commitment towards supporting Tekken 8 without Harada.
Earlier this week, Bandai Namco promised an announcement pertaining to the future of Tekken 8 for the Tekken World Tour 2025 Global Finals during the top 8 portion of the bracket. Indeed, Bandai Namco had quite the announcement to share today during the main event.
Kunimitsu, Bob and Roger Jr. have been revealed for Tekken 8 Season 3. There will also be a fourth character that has yet to be revealed set to be released in Winter 2026.
According to the latest trailer, Kunimitsu is set to become available in late Spring 2026. Bob will join in Summer 2026. Then we’ll get access to Roger Jr. in Autumn 2026.
Season 3 will also feature a major balance patch. The trailer emphasized a “return to basics,” likely referencing the unpopularity of the Season 2 adjustments.
A new stage is also set to be released in Winter 2026, presumably around the same time as that fourth, unknown challenger. This heavily suggests that the character could be a guest character, similar to Clive Rosfield of Season 1.
The Season 3 Pass will be available to purchase starting on February 9 PST. Of course, it’s important to highlight that it’ll still be a little while until the first character of the pass, Kunimitsu, is released.
Additionally, Bandai Namco is extending the early access perk of the Season 3 Pass. Instead of getting an extra 72 hours to play the newly released fighters, pass owners will get access to Season 3 content 120 hours earlier than everyone else.
There will also be an “Aurora Outfit Pack” that unlocks costumes for a number of different characters that will be made available later down the road. We get sneak peeks at what these costumes will look like for Panda, Lili and Jin.
