So I played CSGO a ton almost a decade ago now, they used to hand out these cases like hotcakes, I'd get one every other game. back then chroma and glove cases were a big thing but they were only ever worth a max of 2-3$.
I have about 30 different cases sitting in my inventory from that time.
after not playing it for years now, I've noticed I've been getting spammed with trade requests on steam with people trying to trade all my old cases for some cheapo skins, so out of curiosity, I checked the price of these cases and was blown away to see them skyrocket in value.
my glove cases which i have around 10 of are worth $30CAD a pop, seeing as I can sell these for a lot, are these going to appreciate in value more than this? should I hold them? why are they even jumping in value?
I don't plan on ever opening these and gambling with them (maybe one for fun before selling lol) but given I sell them all, I don't really need hundreds on my steam wallet, could actually use this money to pay some bills IF I can pull that money to my bank? not sure if thats a thing but figured id ask here too
