Many Lord of the Rings Online fans are very familiar with FibroJedi, an MMORPG blogger who’s provided incredibly detailed and helpful guides to LOTRO’s festivals over the years. He’s been such a staple that even SSG routinely links to his guides when the festivals return. Unfortunately, the author announced that his Fibromyalgia symptoms and pain have progressed to the point that he cannot keep up with the blog any longer.
“Recently, I’ve developed over-sensitivity to large screens,” he explained. “I hope this isn’t a long-term problem, but it has meant that I’ve used my screen time for my blog without getting to play LOTRO and FFXIV, you know, for fun.”
Fibro said that he’s handed over the content to the LOTRO Wiki so that all of his work won’t go to waste. We here at MassivelyOP truly wish him and his family the best during his battle with this disease.
And speaking of community content, SSG announced that it’s starting to take applications for the new LOTRO Creator Program. “The LOTRO Creator Program isn’t just about boosting content, it’s about building an ecosystem,” the studio said, noting that there were limited slots in the first round for participants.
