I removed the 3060 Ti from the AMD system and swapped to the 5070 Ti. The results are a little surprising to me, I could only ever just get close to 7800 with my 14600KF, I tried so many variations to the VF curve, changes in BIOS/Windows settings and drivers etc… to no avail. 4 months later, middle of the day in summer and I achieve a slightly higher average frame rate with the not so well regarded 8700F.

Some time ago (before Steel Nomad), I executed some tests with a 10600K and 3060 Ti. I never had a 3DMark account at the time and the listing remained anonymous until recently, I emailed the staff at 3DMark requesting to move the "Anonymous" result to my account. I genuinely thank and appreciate the helpfulness of the team at UL Solutions for sorting that out for me.

After countless Time Spy runs, vBIOS flashes and curve adjustments, I managed to lock in 2nd place (3 point margin), but in the back of my mind, it haunts me that I couldn't get top spot. 18 months later and all is good, for now…
