Let me start by admitting I am a noob to PC building and overclocking. I have a Gigabyte Gaming OC 5070 Ti, and I have been having fun learning about overclocking / undervolting with MSI Afterburner and trying to see how hard I can push my card without getting it too hot. I attached a screenshot from my best score on Steel Nomad which was 7503.

For my GPU/CPU, the best scorer (7990) had a clock frequency of 3180 and an average clock of 3159, but their average GPU temp is 61c while mine was only 51c. Their 9700x also clocked at 5738 while mine was 5653, and they had +3000 on memory while I had +2950, but I can’t see how that would make such a big difference. I’m not trying to beat their score, I just want to know how to optimize my settings as much as possible because clearly I’m overlooking something.

Does anyone have any reasoning as to why my card won’t sustain a higher clock speed even though I have plenty of thermal headroom? I can provide any more info if needed.
