I have no clue about overclocking so I need some insight.
I bought a pre built PC last summer with the RAM Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6000Mhz 32GB, CL36-44-44
Last week I installed new RAM for work reasons, Crucial Pro DDR5 5600Hz 96GB CL-46-45-45
I installed the RAM successfully, first boot took a little bit longer, but the rest have been normal boot times.
I checked CPU-Z and saw that it's running faster than advertised, at 6000MHz & 36-44-44
I went in to BIOS and saw that the store I bought the PC from have manually clocked the RAM, so it's using the settings for the old RAM and 1.35volt instead of 1.1volt.
As I said, I know nothing about this, but with the current price of RAM I just want to know if there's any risk with this configuration or if everything's fine since the PC seems to be working fine? I've been doing some work in Unreal Engine, played some games and done a CineBench test and there has been no issues.
Picture is the settings the settings I assume the store has changed.
