Hi guys,
Put together some spare parts and I’m looking for some help in order to tune this system for a safe and nice 24/7 operation. Stability is key so nothing crazy in terms of extreme tuning and volts, just looking for the best bang for buck settings here.
MB: Asus Prime X470 Pro. This MB doesn’t like my G.Skill Ares b-die (2x8gb) neither my Ripjaws V b-die (2x16gb) so went with my Ballistix instead. Very temperamental board to say the least.
CPU: 5950X, default TDP for now. Run Ryzen Master for CO tuning per core and it gave me the results shown in the photo. If it gave me -30, I entered -25 in the bios, -15 became -10 and so on in order not to be in the very edge of stability. I’ll test for stability tomorrow. Cooler is a Thermalright Phantom Spirit (what a beast of a cooler in terms of performance!)
RAM: 2X16gb Ballistix 3200 with 16-18-18 timings. Dual Rank Micron e-die. Just want to run these at 3600mhz with the same timings and tweak some secondary timings to safe values. Don’t want to go above 1.4V for 24/7 operation if that’s possible.
BIOS: Upgraded to 6202 (AGESA 1.2.0.A). Not sure if this is a good one or not.
Just looking for people’s opinion on running this at 3600 FCLK 1:1 with some good secondary timings. Nothing crazy, thanks
