All I can say is, I don’t think Modern Warfare should’ve gotten a remake in the first place, it should’ve gotten a 4th entry or a legitimate spin off.
The older games still age well and the 2nd game was already remastered just before the remake came out.
Cold War and BO6 were at the very least “okay” but with the different VA’s it might as well been a different game altogether.
The stealth sections were.. Different as well, but certainly weren’t my favorite portions of the games..
In other words I’m tired of people calling Ghosts “underrated”.
I’ve played that game 4 times on a handful of occasions simply to earn gamerscore/trophies and nothing more than that.
The game’s story was soulless, nonsensical, and has one of the worst written villains in most actual franchises, even compared to Resident Evils cheesy villains.
All in all, I believe Infinite Warfare was truly underrated.
People never gave it a chance before launch due to most being tired of futuristic combat in their call of duty games.
The trailer alone was the highest disliked video on YouTube for quite some time.
But it’s the best futuristic Call of Duty made, the space/aerial combat is absolutely solid, the story is written well, the characters were actually likable, the gameplay was fun, and the zombies was decent.
On a final note, if it weren’t for the multiplayer and zombies for Black Ops 3, I would have lowered it down to Ghosts for its atrocious batshit insane campaign that has nothing to do with Black Ops main story other than a one-off line regarding Menendez.
