All iv'e changed from 8400 to 8500 is….
1- Rx 1 TAP to 2 TAPS Tx still remains at 1
2- DFE GAIN BIAS P0 STEP 2
Just a quick test at 8500-2200 at lowered VDD-VDDQ-VDDIO as 8400-2100 passed and i'd saved profile, all i am doing is seeing where my ceiling is (MAX UCLK) using low timings and voltages just to test. those that know if this was NOT workable, it simply would not run longer than a cycle or freeze, or random reboots, all generally happen within the 1st 20-60 mins, if timings and voltages are all that's needed you'd just get errors.
This has already passed twice over night at higher VDD-VDDQ-VDDIO,
Now i know i can work this, i'll now continue testing for at least 24 hours 🙂
