I recently upgraded to an ultrawide monitor, and when my girlfriend got home from work, I immediately dragged her over to try it out on GTA V.
She’s not a gamer at all, so I had to teach her the controls. But after a few minutes, she was locked in, cruising around the map and hopping from one shiny car to another for 3 straight hours!
I even played backseat DJ, controlling Spotify from my phone to set the perfect driving vibe while she played.
I’ve never seen her this immersed before. It was hilarious watching her dutifully follow traffic rules one second, then fully road-raging when an NPC dared to overtake her.
Honestly one of the best dates we’ve had in a while. I’m already planning to get her into Cyberpunk 2077 next!
