Let me make this clear first, I'm not talking about gameplay.

In my opinion Tranzit does almost if not everything right in terms of environmental storytelling and vibe. I always liked the Bo2 storyline.
Loading Screens: honestly in my opinion they're perfect at showing what Tranzit and the other locations are, it shows an advertisement card surrounded by dirt, grime, and blood, it's extremely eerie. It shows what the location was but reality is surrounding it showing. The music adds onto it perfectly but playing this nice tune but quickly becomes distorted as you hear zombies in the back until the song completely goes to static just showing everything normal was ruined.

Zombies bosses: I know we all hate denizens but honestly they're still terrifying in appearance and sound, they're giant heads and big red infected eyes are terrifying to truly inspect Broken Arrow was casually making these things too and since they escaped, they probably all bred which is why there's an endless amount of them. Avagodro is one of those designs that's so genius (Ik he has lore in Alpha Omega but idk much about that, sorry) it being a full nervous system and brain that's bright white and blue and can control the weather that shows not even the weather can't even be safe because there's an entity of unethical science wields weather in it's hands. (Ik I wasn't gonna mention gameplay but I will say I wish Avagodro was more dangerous of a boss than just minor inconvenience)

Fog and Lava: (yes Ik we all hate it) these 2 things are big thorn in our sides but I think it shows that the earth is truly broken without needing to be in a bird's eye view, rocks and formations are completely broken and coming out the ground and all the magma is rising to the surface as all the fog and smog fills the air and your lungs, completely ruining your sight which usually fills a person which much fear because our sight is our most valued sense we have and the Broken Earth takes that away and forces you run through.

Locations: all the locations are effectively each of the loading screens incarnate, it's all in ruin and cars are destroyed and almost everywhere is ruined but still standing to show what once was. Which probably used as momentary shelters for anyone still alive but probably died cuz fun fact there's random audio of someone screaming in pain in the far far distance which means there's people alive and dying while playing the game.

Characters: I know so many dislike the Tranzit crew but honestly I love them alot and I think it shows something, they do argue at times but I think it aids their characters because in hell scape like this, you will sometimes have to work with people that you may not like but have to in order to survive or die a painful death and as much as they argue, they still care eachother for the most part, they may act like they hate each other but I'm fairly certain they wouldn't be able to handle being alone once again. As well as they aren't special, they're not important, they're just people to be used by Richtofen and Maxis to further their own goals to be thrown away in the end. The Tranzit crew are truly just survivors in a world that doesn't belong to them anymore and I always found that so interesting

Conclusion: I know from a gameplay perspective, this is arguably the worst map to exist but deep down I can't truly hate it at it's core because in terms of aesthetic and characters it's truly truly interesting because they would be absolutely terrifying to deal with irl having the entire planet blown apart by forces we will never understand, this applies to the Tranzit crew itself, they don't understand anything that's going on, they're just following orders to hopefully save whatever is left and or themselves but yeah that's my take on it all ✌🏿
