As we all know, there is a CoD Movie being developed by Paramount Plus. It has been confirmed it will be released further down the line, say around 2027 or 2028. And insiders suggest the story will heavily correlate to Modern Warfare, Black Ops or even Zombies.

But, as we all know it, Video Game Adaptations have been extremely poor and pretty bad. And that worries me.

Because a Call of Duty movie is only done right if the people behind it care enough to look at the source material and actually try to replicate that same awesomeness, or try to make an original take on the game while implementing loads of core details and references to the lore.

I honestly think it will fail, not because it won't be on the same level as 2009's MW2, or the Badass and amazing Story that is Black Ops 2, but because it's paramount.

Paramount as of late has been lacking and absolutely fumbling film after film by selling projects off or inherently cancelling them as of recent memory, let alone the knowledge of their practices when it comes to streaming service and lack of films in cinemas, and overall-reliance on already existing franchises and milking them dry.

It kinda worries me because for a gigantic IP such as CoD, you'd expect the film company behind said production to care about it. Not only that but I feel they will try to merge both MW 1, 2 & 3 into one film, which would never work since you'd need to expand the films into literally 3 parts. It would work better as a Show, but knowing Paramount, they're gonna want to merge the stories together into one.

Idk man, I'm kinda scared.
