Backed by a successful Kickstarter, Occulto is the debut game from a two-person team based in Italy. At first glance, it looks like a game from Amanita Design, as it shares a lot of visual similarities and features non-verbal dialogue. It’s set in a fantasy world where you play as Eliot, a young magic apprentice, as he tries to find his way back to his master who has vanished. With stunning hand-drawn visuals created with oils, canvas and pencils, Occulto is one to keep an eye on in 2026. A demo is available on Steam if you want to give it a try.
