I don't have words to express how much I am loving DMZ for the gameplay experience I get with it is something that ranked MP and BR just can't compete with… DMZ is just on a league of its own. As for the match:
I spawned close to Observatory, tried to get the safe but got attacked by the enemy squad that had spawned there so I got in full scape mode and I barely made it out alive as bots along the way kept giving away my position. Thankfully my build is very good so smokes do charge fast though.
I made it to Residential Area and thought of doing a looting spree there when I noticed shots over Port so I stopped on my tracks and was like "if I don't try and take out that player, I might regret it later…" so I made my way towards that place, pre-aimed my RAAL to try and see whether I could spot the player in the open from that distance (as that LMG comfortably will out DPS any DMZ AR at long range), maybe bots would give away his position? No, the guy had spotted me before I did and dropped me with 2 sniper rifle shots! Thankfully, even though I couldn't tell where he downed me from, he was far away enough that I could use my self-revive kit and being Medic made it so I could use it much faster and popped smoke at my feet the instant I got back up and then relocated and crouched. I thought "Damn, this guy means business, I better GTFO!" and then I saw footsteps… The guy headed right where he had downed me and mag-dumped the spot at which I had been a few seconds ago, which was still covered by smoke. With his back turned on me, I just turned him into mincemeat with my RAAL, went there, looted and screenshot him.
Happy that I could finally resume my interrupted looting spree in RE, I got into the houses and started taking stuff… Until I heard more shots at Port and they had the bullet indicator (real player using unsuppressed weapon) and I was like "Damn, can't I loot in peace yet?!" and then this time around I sprinted towards Port, made it to the building that's beside the Juggernaut one and pullet out my RAAL, entered a small corner and dropped the player there how either was distracted or AFK at that moment. I looted him and went back to RE.
Once I was back at RE, I entered the next house I meant to… And a fucking motion sensor dropped on me… I was like "Holy crap, again?!" And before I could flee because I didn't wanna risk losing the legendary armor I had stolen should I have died, I saw footsteps approaching and so I got no choice but to turn back and head towards those footsteps and went speshit mode by pre-firing and pre-aiming as I was exiting the house, making the enemy player drop right then and there. I thought it was over until… More fucking footsteps! The enemy was at that bathroom-like thing that's between Serpent Town (or is it Beach?) and Residential Area. Thankfully I reacted on time and even though we shot each other kinda simultaneously, I outgunned him and while I did that I noticed what was either a sniper scope glint or tac laser pointing towards me so I did slide and made my way to the bathroom-like thing (as did that enemy player too), we both entered it from opposite directions and I pre-hipfired him to death. Then I recorded the video you guys can see which is me looting. Yes, I could've looted better but come on, I couldn't focus fully at that moment as I just had survived attacks from 4 different players nearly back to back and the last 3 did happen back to back.
Hopefully I'll be able to post the screenshot of the first player I eliminated. If it wasn't for him not being close enough when he knocked me down and not doing things such as throwing a 'nade at my location to finish me off, as well as me having that self revive kit and being Medic to get back up fast enough, pop smoke and relocate quickly, the match would've ended right then and there! Taking an Ultra from one of those guys and my new best loot score as a solo player was the cherry on top. Yes, my new loot score pales compared to those of you guys but come on, I am just a solo hard player who runs with the slowest full auto gun in the game!
Last but not least important, do not sleep on the RAAL! It hits like a truck and destroys other full auto guns at longer ranges.
