Hello. I own an Alienware X15 R2 with i7 12700H. It came from factory with liquid metal applied on the CPU. Recently it started to thermal throttle from CPU and I had to replace LM. It was never opened before and I had quite the shock. Some of the LM reacted with the copper and formed an alloy. The surface is no longer perfectly flat, nail catches on the alloy. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Sorry if the picture quality is not the best or if my alloy theory is wrong, I have limited knowledge on chemistry. The scratches there are from a bad laptop service. The guy there also destroyed 8 screws.
