HandScar was able to achieve seventh place for Capcom Pro Tour 2024 World Warrior Finals for Europe West. It’s also known that he was able to take first place in the Street Fighter 6 Saltmine League tournament back in May.

It would seem that HandScar recently opted to release a new difficulty tier list for Street Fighter 6. Going in descending order, characters are ranked from hardest (“hard” tier category) to easiest (“plant” tier category).

Akuma, Ed, Dhalsim, Rashid and C. Viper are said to be the most difficult characters to play as in Street Fighter 6 at the moment. Out of these characters, it’s interesting to note that only Akuma isn’t classified as being “hard” to use within the game itself (since he’s labeled as having a “normal” difficulty).

Dee Jay, Mai, M. Bison, Marisa, E. Honda, A.K.I., Juri and Lily are said to be the easiest characters in Street Fighter 6 to play right now. Of course, it’s a unique take to have fighters like A.K.I. and Juri labeled as being so easy since the game itself depicts them as being hard to use.

It’s also worth mentioning that HandScar would later state that Ryu also belongs in the easiest tier category. Notably, the character has been becoming more prevalent lately due to the safety of his Joudan Sokutogeri special move (when spaced properly).

Characters that are said to be easy to use aren’t necessarily the best characters in Street Fighter 6. For example, E. Honda and Lily are said to have relatively low learning curves, but are generally placed in the lower positions on traditional tier lists.
