But you can instantly lose too by decking yourself out

The fighting game modding community never ceases to amaze, but this is definitely one of the most creative and cool creations we’ve ever seen.
Kongmeng recently released a crazy impressive Yu-Gi-Oh mod for Dragon Ball FighterZ that shows off what the king of games can pull off as a fighter.
This DBFZ mod adds Yami Yugi to the roster, however, the pharaoh isn’t the one doing most of the attacking himself.
Instead, Yugi relies upon his trusty Dark Magician to do most of the battling for him, but that isn’t the only trick he has up his sleeve.
Yugi has a full deck of cards to play with as well including various monsters, spells and trap cards from the series that offer a wide arrange of abilities.
He’s got the Celtic Guardian, Gaia the Fierce Knight, Curse of Dragon and Summoned Skull for monsters plus things like Mirror Force and Dust Tornado for traps and of course Pot of Greed as part of his spell lineup.
His Supers also summon the Dark Magician Girl and Slifer the Sky Dragon too with the Egyptian God actually doing more damage depending on the number of cards in hand like the trading card game, which is really neat.
And if that weren’t enough, Yugi can also draw all five pieces of Exodia to instantly win the game, but he has a weakness too.
The short trailer didn’t showcase Yami Yugi’s Level 3 Supers so I’ll showcase them here. They are very faithful to cards, anime, and manga:

The king of games can immediately lose too if he runs out of cards in his deck, so players will have to be slightly careful with the amount of specials he uses.
Yugi’s gameplay and mechanics seem to be a mix of characters like Bedman? and Asuka from Guilty Gear Strive plus Captain Ginyu from FighterZ, so he’ll take some practice to master effectively.
We previously saw a similarly impressive Dragon Ball mod that added Dio from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure to the roster.
This isn’t the first time we’ve gotten to talk about the card game series this year either, as the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship winner took home the prize with a fighting game themed deck.
