Boys, I'm having a rough go – I really just want to play Battlefield right now..
I can't get stable 6000 1:1 with a 9800x3d. Loading latest BIOS for Asus x870i and loading defaults only, then expo 1 and expo 2 (I noticed some of the secondary timings gskill sets in expo 2 Asus loads looser with expo 1/tweaked). Totally default + expo and mclk=uclk I error out in 10 minutes or less with OCCT CPU+mem test extreme.. I cranked all the voltages and did my usual tweaks like MCR and power down disabled both off, seems to help. Furthest I've gotten is 35 minutes. Even with much looser primary timings (pictured), all others on auto and 1.5v VDD/VDDQ still error. This kit is supposed to be 6000 CL28-36-36-36-96. I understand tighter timings can increase load on IMC. How can I definitely say who to blame, CPU IMC or my ram sticks? Seems only way to get stable is with Nitro 2/3/1.. 1/3/1 robust training 8x/8x fails.
Thanks!
