How much has Open Matchmaking Helped/Hindered your stats since it was introduced?

I was a pretty consistent 1.6ish throughout the lifecycle of BO6, now in BO7 i'M 2.38, so needless to say i am personally having a much better time.

I'm curious though, what kind of experience is everyone else having ?
