I have been putting off organizing my space forever 'cause moving cables and mounting stuff felt like too much work

Finally did it last weekend, and honestly should have done this months ago

The setup:

main pc (in fractal torrent case):

  • HP Omen 40L
  • Intel Core i7-12700
  • 32GB DDR4 3600MHz
  • 1TB NVMe SSD + 1–2TB SATA SSD
  • A bunch of storage I accumulated over time
  • Laptop: Dell XPS

screen:

  • IIyama G-Master

audio/peripherals:

  • speakers: Pioneer DJ DM-40 (nothing fancy but they work)
  • Headphones: Edifier
  • keyboard: Keychron
  • mouse: Logitech MX Master 3/3S
  • webcam: EMEET S600

The webcam upgrade made a bigger difference than expected. old razer kiyo would heat after like 3 hours of streaming, image quality would tank and sometimes it would just disconnect

switched to the emeet one mainly cause reviews said it’s plug play and handles heat better and yeah, no issues during 6+ hour sessions. also way better auto exposure, my room lighting is inconsistent and it adjusts fine

didnt go obsbot 'cause $300 felt excessive for part time streaming, this was like $60 and does what i need

not the craziest setup, but its mine and it works way better than my previous mess

what was the upgrade that made you actually enjoy sitting at your desk more? trying to figure out what matters vs what's just aesthetic.
