Update 39.1 is now live
Here are the main things you need to know about the update:
- Map Service for This Update
- Erangel: Subzero
- Stalber, Shelter, Military Base, Boatyard, bridges, rivers and other areas have frozen over following Satellite crashes
- This marks only the beginning of a long and unforgiving winter…
- New Weapon: Blue Zone Grenade Launcher
- Creates a Blue Zone sphere with a 7.5 m radius
- Dynamic weather that includes changing winter conditions has been added
- Gunplay Updates:
- The recoil of the VSS has been increased
- VSS firing sound is now louder and can be heard from farther away
- SLR and SKS recoil has been decreased, SKS muzzle velocity drop over distance has been reduced
- AUG recoil has been increased, M416 recoil has been decreased

- Team Deathmatch:
- Care Packages now feature a loadout exclusive to the mode
- All Spawn Kits now come with Lv. 2 gear

- Fix for an issue where prone players were momentarily displayed as floating in midair
