Over 1,500 athletes are in Bangkok and Chonburi to represent the Filipino flag in the multi-sport event, which takes place for the first time since 2023 when it was hosted in Cambodia.
The Philippines are aiming to improve on their 2023 medal haul, where they finished fifth overall and collected a total of 260 medals: 58 golds, 86 silvers, and 116 bronzes.
Some of the big names in action include Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo, Alexandra Eala, and Ernest John (EJ) Obiena.
