Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch is Tinker Bell’s second Story Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch expansion. After obtaining the second Crystal Key in Cruella’s “The Skunk Rebellion” Quest, it’s time to return to the Wishblossom Heart to help Tinker Bell and continue the search for the missing horses.
Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch also puts everything you have learned so far about horse abilities to the test, as you use your Wishblossom Ranch Horse and Maximus to solve various puzzles to help the Ambition Wishblossom!
Bring Glamour Gulch’s Crystal Key to Tinker Bell in the Wishblossom Heart
After unlocking Cruella and welcoming her to the Ranch in “The Skunk Rebellion”, she finally gives you the second Crystal Key, triggering Tinker Bell’s “Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch” Quest. To get started, the first step is to bring Glamour Gulch’s Crystal Key to Tinker Bell, who you can find in the Wishblossom Heart, where you completed the first cavern trial in “Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps” – the map pictured above marks where you need to go.
After returning to Wishblossom Heart, you can find Tinker Bell by the steps next to the Hope Wishblossom in the main cavern area. Interact with Tinker Bell to give her the Crystal Key, which has a red, octagonal-shaped design.
Talk to Tinker Bell and Enter the Second Crystal Cavern
Next, follow Tinker Bell to the Glamour Gulch Crystal Cavern entrance just around the corner to the left. Talk to Tinker Bell again, who uses the key to create a set of stairs leading to the Glamour Gulch Crystal Cavern entrance – the second Crystal Cavern! Head up the steps and press the ‘Enter’ option to enter the Cavern.
Knowing how to switch horses is crucial in “Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch”, as you will need to need to do this to various puzzles and get past different horses during the Quest. If playing on PC, press ‘N’ to bring up the horse selection menu. From there, you can choose which horse you want to summon.
Interact with the Lever, Follow the Scent Trail, and Lower the Elevator Platform
Once inside the second Crystal Cavern, summon or switch to Maximus to jump the gap ahead, remembering to approach the jump by galloping. Head up the steps and into the next area, where you can find an optional green chest by the lamppost on the right. Inside, you will find a Horse Tack Bag.
While not a quest requirement, opening the Horse Tack Bag gives you the Regal Bridle, another item you can use to customize your horse’s appearance.
To progress further into the Second Crystal Cavern, you will need to mount Maximus and find a way to lower the Elevator Platform across the gap in front of you, so that Maximus can leap across the gap. There are a few steps required to lower the Elevator Platform:
While riding Maximus, interact with the Lever on the wooden post to the right of the gap to pick up the scent trail, which looks like a cloud of red smoke.
Follow the scent trail by tracking the small puffs of red smoke behind you and around the corner to the right, where you can find the handle on the ground. Pick up the handle and return to the post with the lever.
Interact with the lever to transfer the Lever Handle from your inventory. Lastly, interact with the Lever Handle to lower the platform.
Following the above steps lowers the wooden Elevator Platform ahead, enabling you to jump the gap onto the platform by galloping towards it while riding Maximus. Once standing on the platform, you will need to jump another gap to reach the other side, so be prepared for a second jump!
Once safely across, head down the stairs and into the next area, where you find the Ambition Wishblossom! However, it can’t speak because of all the Decay Crystals at its roots!
Remove the Decay Crystals Affecting the Wishblossom:
To help the Ambition Wishblossom, you will need to find and remove three red Decay Crystals from its roots, with each Decay Crystal located in the following puzzle areas:
In the blue area, on top of the mezzanine near the entrance. In the green flooded area to its right. In the pink area, behind the cluttered elevator to its left.
Although you can approach these three Decay Crystal puzzle areas in any order, you might find it easier to start with the Pink Area, followed by the Green Area, and, lastly, the Blue Area.
In the Pink Area
To find the Pink Area, head past the raised drawbridge left of the Wishblossom and continue right until you find the cluttered elevator filled with wooden barrels next to a lever handle. Interact with the handle to raise the elevator platform. While riding Maximus, gallop towards and jump across the gap to reach the Decay Crystal ahead.
Riding any horse, approach the Decay Crystal and select ‘Destroy’ to smash it to pieces, ticking off the Pink Area objective.
In Green Area
Next, jump back over the gap with Maximus and head left to find the Green Area inside the tunnel with green leaves. Follow the path around to the left, where you can find a stone block to move and another optional green chest to open on the right – this one contains the Regal Saddle Blanket inside another Horse Tack Bag!
To find the Decay Crystal in the Green Area, there is a pressure plate puzzle that, when solved, opens the nearby wooden door containing the crystal. To solve the puzzle, you will need to do the following:
While riding Tap to Reveal, jump the gap across the water and Tap to Reveal by the wooden panel on the ground to Tap to Reveal.
Next, Maximus can’t push objects, so you need to head back to the stone block and Tap to Reveal to Tap to Reveal. Push the stone block Tap to Revealto move it Tap to Reveal.
Lastly, while riding any horse, stand Tap to Reveal to open the door.
Head inside to find the next Decay Crystal on the left, then destroy it with your horse.
Rather than traveling back through the Pink Area, you can switch to Maximus here and jump across the small river between the two pink crystals, taking you to a zone right next to the Ambition Wishblossom area. While riding Maximus, follow the scent trail across the next gap on the left to find and pick up another Lever Handle, which you will need to access the Blue Area!
In the Blue Area
After picking up the Lever Handle mentioned above, jump back across the gap and continue following the scent trail to the left. It takes you straight to the Blue Area entrance just left of the Ambition Wishblossom. However, the entrance is blocked by a raised drawbridge. Fortunately, can use the Lever Handle you picked up to lower it!
To lower the drawbridge, interact with the wooden post panel on the right to transfer the Lever Handle from your inventory. Next, interact with the Lever Handle to lower the drawbridge so you can travel across it. Head up the steps and jump the gap ahead while riding Maximus, following the path right to find the main Blue Area puzzle.
To solve the Blue Area puzzle and reach the final Decay Crystal, you can follow the steps below:
Interact with Tap to Reveal to Tap to Reveal onto the water.
Switch to your Tap to Reveal and Tap to Reveal Tap to Reveal Doing so lets you Tap to Reveal to reach and Tap to Reveal, Tap to Reveal onto the water.
Switching to Tap to Reveal, Tap to Reveal so you can Tap to Reveal.
Once safely across the water, head through the tunnel ahead to find another optional green chest to open, this time containing the Regal Horsepack inside another Horse Tack Bag.
Next, jump another gap on the left with Maximus and continue following the path around to the left. Jump another gap while riding Maximus, then continue right to find the final Decay Crystal next to the elevator. Once again, use your horse to destroy the final Decay Crystal, then ride the elevator to the bottom.
Talk to the Ambition Wishblossom and Use Khan to Exit the Cavern
With all three Decay Crystals destroyed, you can now talk to the Ambition Wishblossom, who returns the next unlockable horse – Khan! After unlocking Khan, you must now ride Khan to exit the cavern, whose special ability is breaking barricades.
Head up the steps by the pink crystals opposite the Ambition Wishblossom and destroy the wooden barricades while riding Khan to clear the path. You can break the barrier by approaching it while riding Khan and pressing ‘Destroy’ – Khan then kicks it to pieces with style!
Follow the path around into the next area, destroying three more wooden barriers to reach the cavern exit.
Exiting the Crystal Cavern returns you to the Wishblossom Heart, where you talk with Tinker Bell about how it all went. After the conversation ends, “Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch” is complete, and you automatically unlock the next Wishblossom Ranch Story Quest, “Bounce Up, Never Down”!
