Some time ago I ordered an intel xeon 6 cpu, the 6985p c(aws specific model), 120 cores and 240 threads, 550w tdp), along with this motherboard from gigabyte, the MA34 – CP0 which apparently is the only availiable consumer standard sized motherboard that supports xeon 6900 series cpus. had to wait a few weeks for preorder as if you want to buy non preorder ones it will cost about $700 more. I did have a stick of ddr5 ram on hand and was going to buy some more but that was a month ago and if you haven’t been living under a rock lately you’ll know why I didn’t do that. Anyways, can’t wait to do some stuff with this and I’ll post an update for you guys later.
