zombies chronicles on bo2 would've been redundant at that point. the maps graphically would've looked the same and it wasn't too long ago that its predecessor black ops 1 had all the waw maps. sure bo2 zombies chronicles was going to be more than just the waw maps but also the entirety of bo1's maps (allegedly call of the dead was gonna be there too though i have to wonder how due to legal issues of using a celeb cast). but i feel like it wouldn't feel as eventful or as impactful as having these maps fully remastered from the ground up with next gen graphics like with bo3.

i think holding off zombies chronicles for bo3 was a step in the right direction. because it made bringing those maps back to ps4 and xbox one users so much more special. they felt like soulful remasters. you could actually see the leap in graphics compared to their original counterparts. back when next gen graphics were actually next gen. it offered a new experience due to those old maps being updated on modern hardware. it felt more of a worthy celebration of cod zombies.

zombies chronicles for bo3 just made perfect sense. and i am glad activision stopped treyarch from making it originally on bo2. activision themselves probably had a vision lol.
