In OoT Glass bottles and rupees give me the feel but heart pieces and containers give me the feel the most I think its because of the gem like shimmery quality and OoT has a chrome/gradient texture no other game has.
Other examples are colorful materia and item chests Final Fantasy 7 that shimmer and the shimmery gems in spyro on Playstation.
I loved collecting glass marbles and crazy bonez back in the day, maybe that has something to do with it.
