The fighting game community is filled with a ridiculous amount of talented artists across the world, and they have another shot at getting their work officially recognized again.

Although the second New Challenger art contest wrapped up just earlier this year, Capcom has announced they’re going to be doing it a third time already.

Like the previous times, fans can submit their artwork on X under the hash tag #SF6ArtContest3 though things will be a little different for their third venture.

Every character through Season 3, including Alex and Ingrid, are up for grabs in this contest, and each fighter will have one winning piece that’ll eventually make it into Street Fighter 6.

The development team is going to determine a preliminary selection from submissions, but the community is going to have final say as to who makes it in.

They’ll open public voting early next year on social media to determine the final winners.

Capcom’s second contest sparked some controversey when one winner was accused of using AI art in their submission and was subsequently disqualified.

Oddly, the development team ended up making their own Kimberly art to replace it instead of picking another fan work, but they’ll presumably have a better handle on how to deal with that if it happens again.

Submissions for the third art contest are set to begin on November 30 and run through December 31 while user voting will take place from January 12 through January 25.

You can find the full list of rules and guidelines on the official Street Fighter website.
