Hello, so in the previous post, a decent amount of people stepped up and said that they would like to be a part of the Fireteam group. So who would like to be the one who starts it?
The Fireteam group is a group of classic players who want to play Fireteam again, and new players who want to play Fireteam and see what it's like. The leader will ping the members every Saturday evening (because that's the most convenient time for most), and they all search for Fireteam Moshpit at the same time to kickstart lobbies
This will be a weekly routine, so that anyone who wants to play Fireteam can do so in a reliable and consistent manner. This effort is to benefit the community, to give them another cool mode to play when TDM and Nuketown becomes too stale
The "What's Fireteam" post above got a lot of traction. 44K views and counting, almost 200 votes, and around 40 shares. If every player who voted and shared was a part of the Fireteam group, Fireteam would be completely playable again
A common reason why Fireteam hasn't been fixed yet is because of the bystander effect. A lot of people who want to join the effort don't because "I'll wait for someone else to step up first". Well, here's your chance. A lot of people have stepped up and want to be a part of this group, so the bystander effect can leave now
Once the Fireteam group is formed, Fireteam will become playable again. We just need everyone who wants to play to step up and join
