I've seen claims that the French version of Call of Duty: Ghosts includes a date in the opening that helps place Operation Sand Viper on the timeline.
But I can’t find any footage of the French intro. Does anyone have a clip or can confirm whether a date is actually mentioned?
Here’s why I’m asking:
- The Ghosts Signature Series Strategy Guide places the player joining the Ghosts in 2028.
- Snake Bite happens 12 years earlier (in 2016).
- In Demon Breath, Rorke refers to Sand Viper as taking place a decade or eleven years earlier.
That would place Operation Sand Viper around 2005–2006, but I'm not sure if that’s accurate.
Can anyone confirm whether the French intro gives a specific date?
