This controller sits at my desk at all times, now it’s under $30

EasySMX X10 controller in gray on a wooden table

The EasySMX X10 is one of my favorites every holiday season. That’s because it starts life at a reasonable $49.99, but can drop well below $30 when Black Friday really gets going. That’s what’s happening right now, but these budget gamepads are moving fast.

The gray model I picked up is usually my go-to, but it’s only the purple model still on stock for its $26.79 sales price right now. If you’re after clicky mechanical face buttons for wireless PC or Nintendo Switch play, this is a must-see.

I was surprised this mouse was this cheap, now it’s even less

Corsair Sabre Pro V2 Ultralight being used by a reviewer on a wooden desk

I said it in my original review, and I’ll say it again now – the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro Ultralight should cost a hell of a lot more than $99.99. Its 36g weight significantly undercuts a lot of the esports FPS market while still coming in about $50 cheaper than flagships from Razer and Logitech. This is a speedster that holds up in pretty much every fight, and it’s just got even cheaper.

This is the first price cut I’ve ever seen on Corsair’s latest rodent, with Amazon dropping the wireless device all the way down to $79.99.

A board game I’ve been championing for years

Azul board game

I’ve been playing Azul for a few years now, and it’s still a regular in my board game rotation. The tile-based drafting game is a classic ‘quick to learn, difficult to master’ combination that so many game designers are keen to copy but its shorter playtime makes that process of mastery all the more addictive. It’s an 8+ recommendation, with room for two to four players and a couple of different game modes to keep things fresh as well.

While it’s been cheaper at Amazon, that $15.99 record-low hasn’t been seen in some time now (not since 2021). This is about as cheap as Azul has been in 2025 so far.

This low profile keyboard changed my mind on shorter stems

I’ll admit it, I never really liked low profile keyboards. I like a good, bassy deck with plenty of thock and snap. I also like a smooth switch, though, and that’s where the Asus ROG Falchion RX Low Profile turned my head. There’s still plenty of texture in this typing experience, and a gorgeously sound dampened chassis. Typing on these nicely textured PBT caps feels like writing on fresh snow, it may sound like hyperbole but it really is the best example I can give.

All that is why I’ve been watching this 65% deck like a hawk over the last few weeks. Now my efforts have been rewarded. While I’ve previously only ever seen this model at $139.99 in previous sales, Amazon has it for a record-low $99.99 this Black Friday.

One for the OG Switch owners here

Hori Split Pad Pro controllers on Nintendo Switch OLED playing Pokemon

Let me make this clear, this Black Friday deal is only for those still holding onto the original Nintendo Switch. If you’ve moved onto the new handheld, you won’t be able to use the Hori Split Pad Pro in handheld mode, and that’s where it shines best.

This is a chunkier Joy-Con alternative with larger controls, additional back buttons, and a much more comfortable form factor. That’s a hefty list of wins, but you do lose rumble and motion controls in this cheaper alternative.

Best Buy has the grip available for just $39.99 right now (in a lovely Pikachu / Charizard colorway to boot).

Best Buy’s dropped some Amiibo down to just $9.99

Best Buy jumped on Amiibo deals well before Ninty officially announced its Black Friday deals, with $10 off a range of Zelda figures. Now it’s doubled down with an additional $10 off, kicking those final prices all the way down to $9.99. That’s excellent news for collectors and Zelda fans alike, with Riju, Tulin, and Yunobo all taking part.

A budget monitor for less than $150

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Phil’s favorite budget gaming monitor is less than $150 thanks to a near-$50 discount in Amazon’s Black Friday deals this week. That means you’re getting the impressive 1080p panel for just $142.99 right now.

This was a four-star review this time last year, with Phil praising that 240Hz refresh rate and the power of the colors on this VA panel. You’re dropping a few more premium features, like a higher QHD resolution, screen height controls, and USB ports, but this is still a fantastic starter panel.

Need a budget headset?

The Turtle Beach Airlite Fit has quickly become one of our favorites on GamesRadar+. Even at its original $27.99 MSRP it’s excellent value for a no-fuss wired headset that can still pump out great audio. This is an easy pickup for Nintendo Switch fans, but that 3.5mm connection means it’ll run with pretty much anything – that compatibility isn’t to be taken for granted, even among the most expensive headsets on the market.

Amazon has it down to just under $20 for Black Friday, with a $5 saving on the page and an additional $2.40 off via a coupon. That’s a return to a record-low price I’ve only seen during this Black Friday period.

Will Switch 2 games see Black Friday deals?

Nintendo first party games are notoriously difficult to discount – these titles hold onto their value for a long time. Super Mario Odyssey, for example, is still a miracle at $29.99 – and that title was released in 2017.

Still, I have seen some Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals hitting new-generation titles. You’ll likely need to head to Woot for the big’uns, though.

They’re out of stock now, but I’ve seen both Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World on sale here in the last week, with $9 / $10 off respectively. It’s a smaller discount, but I was surprised to see any savings on first party releases so soon.

We’re just $1 away from a record-low price on one of my favorite gaming keyboards

Side view of Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini gaming keyboard

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is a 60% gaming keyboard with a secret weapon. Its analog switches allow not only for rapid trigger, adjustable actuation, and dual-step inputs like other Hall effect keyboards, but they also keep your arrow buttons in play and offer up a slick joystick-like control mode.

That’s a lot for a keyboard currently costing just under $130 at Amazon. I’ve seen the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini down at $126.99 in the past, but this one rarely takes discounts at all. If you’re after a compact deck that’s still packed with features (and can withstand a little echo), this is a must-see.

Prefer something Xbox flavored?

I’ll say it, I do prefer the Sony DualSense. If you’re on Xbox, or you want a cheaper alternative for PC, though, it’s worth checking out Walmart’s offers. The Xbox Wireless Controller has been at this $39.99 sales price on and off over the last week or so, but regularly jumps back up the price bracket. It’s back today, for a strangely low price considering those rates increased earlier in the year.

Sony has a massive range of DualSense controllers discounted for Black Friday, with $20 off the $74.99 MSRP of the basic models and similar discounts on special edition releases. Everything from God of War to Astro Bot colorways are included here, though you’ll be paying a little more for those extra paintjobs.

Those Nintendo Switch game deals are moving fast

Nintendo Switch games stacked on a wooden desk

Nintendo only dropped its official Black Friday deals yesterday, but many retailers are already out of stock on some of the biggest offers. A bunch of games had their prices slashed to just $29.99 for the holiday sales, but many are jumping back up the ladder already today. It reminds me of a Black Friday only a few years ago, when Ninty launched its official console bundles and they were all gone by lunchtime.

Amazon was all the way there over the weekend, but things are looking a little stiff on some titles.

Princess Peach Showtime is nowhere to be found, but still $39.99 at Best Buy ($10 more than it was yesterday). Echoes of Wisdom is seeing a similar struggle (though is still $39.99 at Best Buy).

Black Friday PS5 console deals are in

PS5 Pro and PS5 original console side on on a wooden table

Sony launched its own official Black Friday PS5 deals just last week, with retailers across the web offering consoles as low as $399. That’s not as cheap as they’ve been in the past, but 2025’s price increases have played their hand here. Still, any discounts on PS5 consoles have been incredibly rare over the last few months, so I’ll certainly take a $100 discount on the cheapest rig.
