For many years, Activision releases a new Call of Duty annually. While that schedule once helped grow the series, it now encourages rushed development, repetitive design, below average campaigns, harmful workplace crunch, and even the use of AI, which is apparent in the new COD Black Ops 7, and many players including myself are burned out and fed up with it.

We ask Activision to move Call of Duty to a two-year release cycle to invest in richer live-service updates between releases, better and more polished campaigns, reduced crunch and overall a higher-quality and less buggy games. It will also help to rebuild trust with players, and create space for meaningful innovation and creativity. If you want better, less rushed Call of Duty games, please add your name and sign the petition.

It is understandable that signing this petition does not guarantee Activision will adopt a two-year release cycle. However, by gathering a large number of supporters and fan, we can show them that this is a widely shared view across the community. Every signature helps and that we want Activision to hear us.
