I've been more or less happy with the stock settings with my eGPU Radeon RX7600 XT then I got a bit greedy and started overclocking as far as Adrenaline allows it.
With 20% additional power I had a total crash, no artifacts, no glitching, no eGPU disconnect. The hot spot temp was up to 98C.
With 10% additional power, it seems to be stable but hotspot up to 93C. I don't like seeing any number over 80C.
This card is pretty new, less than a year old, all stock, the eGPU supplies up to 550W.
I have a lot of spare PTM 7950 I am happy to use and already threw into the fridge to install later.
Do these temps justify re-pasting?
Basically the only game that reaches these temperatures is Ready or Not so far. Otherwise the hot spots stays well below 80C.
