Hi All, I'm trying to per core usuage overclock but with my Motherboard (Asus Maximus XII Extreme) i'm finding it very hard to understand how its done in the bios. I have downloaded XTU and im attempting to do it through this. I'm not sure if I have done it correctly.
Can someone confirm from my understanding with the current setup:
– If 1 to 2 cores used > 5.9GHZ
– If 3 to 5 Cores used > 5.7GHZ
-if 6 to 10 Cores used > 5.5GHZ (All Core)
Now My best two cores are 6 & 7 so in XTU I set them to 59x (assuming im telling XTU only to let them 2 cores boost to 59x)?
And core 2, core 3 and core 4, core 5 along with core 8 are only to allowed to boost to a maximum of 57x when usuage is 3 to 5?
is my understanding correct? So in the ratio's you are just telling XTU what the max boost for the core is (or that specific core)?
If I had TVB enabled then whatever is set as the ratio then this my max after TVB. So if I set 56x then my all core will 5.4GHZ with TVB (+2 boost) takes me to 5.6GHZ?
If you know how to do this in the Asus Bios I would prefer that as I dont like software clunk tbh.
Thanks 😀
