First time posting here and I've been going back and forth for about 2 months now with no solution and its confusing. Is there something wrong with my system or is it really designed this way?
I updated my a few weeks ago BIOS hoping this would solve it but its still the same so. Firstly my ryzen 5 2600 NEVER goes beyond 3.6ghz even in games, Im using cpu-z's benchmark tool for the pictures but ingame its still 3.6ghz. And sometimes it somehow performs almost worse than the ryzen 5 1600x? When idling its usually 3.7-3.8ghz but once under load, even when playing it downclocks to exactly 3.617ghz? I fiddled with every power option in windows and everything still 3.6ghz under load. Its not thermal throttling as it never even hits past 75'C.
I tried fiddling with the bios settings but its still performs the same, PBO on or off. Anything else I should try? or is it really my motherboard cause I've seen benchmarks of it ATLEAST hitting 3.75ghz?
