I had 16 gigs of ballistix 3200c16 memory, b450m pro 4 m/b, so daisy chain. Could only OC it to 3400 mhz, whatever though.
Recently bought white ballistix sticks with 3600c16 XMP. Both kits micron e-die. So now I have 32 gb’s total ram, but i can’t get it to anywhere past the XMP settings of my old ram kit. And i mean even if i try to go from tCL 16 to 15 it blue screens, nevermind going from 3200 to 3266. Which is weird, it’s completely stable on 3200.
I’ve already tried increasing soc, dram etc voltages to no avail. I’m getting around 49k read, 65ns latency on AIDA.
Does anyone have any tips or explanations for behaviour like this? Maybe it has something to do with conflicting XMP profiles?
