We’re only a few hours away

Whether you’re set on scoring a PS5 or PS5 Pro console, some epic accessories, or a title you’ve been eyeing at a discount, we’re only a few hours away now from PlayStation’s official Black Friday deals going live. And who knows, beyond the slate already announced, we might wind up seeing a few surprise deals.

I’m still rocking an original PS5 with Disc Drive from launch, and not only would I like a little more space back on my entertainment console, but the benefits of the PS5 Pro will likely become even more appealing with a sweet discount.

Additionally, discounts on extra DualSense controllers – fingers crossed for some nice editions – as well as the Portal and some games, are also building anticipation.

Be prepared for tomorrow!

Overall, at this stage, and at close of business hours in the UK, the best advice I can give anyone looking for a top Black Friday PS5 deal on either side of the Atlantic today is to wait, if you can.

Sony’s own PS5 deals, filtering through every retailer will be here in a matter of hours, and I really expect it to be hot stuff!

The links and deals are still good on this page as things stand and will remain a great launchpad for tomorrow so do continue to use them if you want to get in position before tomorrow!

Holding out for accessories?

If you’ve already got a PS5 console and are only eyeing up PS5 accessories to enhance your setup – the exact approach I’m taking – then the great news is that there’s going to be loads and loads of discounts on these items from tomorrow too.

Highlight include discounts like $20 / £20 on the PlayStation Portal – but I, for some reason, have a sneaking suspicion we might see it drop lower; $20 / £20 off of DualSense controllers; and $30 / £30 off the Pulse Explore and $20 / £20 off Pulse Elite earbuds and headset respectively.

Time to jump into PSVR 2 on the cheap?

One of the biggest Black Friday PS5 deals we’re going to see from tomorrow is going to be $100 / £90 (at least) off the PSVR 2 system.

Could that be enough for some folks to finally take the plunge and jump into Sony’s own VR gaming scene? My colleague Jake certainly thinks it might be time when that deal comes through.

My advice is to wait though…

Naturally, though, my advice is simple: if you can, wait.

It’s only a matter of hours before the official Black Friday PS5 deals and cut-price discounts start, and we’ll be seeing them at retailers of all stripes, on both sides of the Atlantic.

I’m particularly interested in a few of the incoming discounts though…

Sony’s deals officially start tomorrow

The biggest news to get under your noses right away is that the official Sony-mandated Black Friday PS5 deals will kick off properly tomorrow, Friday, November 21.

This is where we’ll see definitive chunks off loads of PS5 gear and games, which I’ll describe some of soon. And it’s also important to remember that these are just Sony’s prices – retailers themselves could still go further, so we could be in for a blockbuster deals period.
