Turtle Shell now keeps normal damage mitigation to your front in BO7, essentially making it a mobile zombie shield that you can repair (replate) on the fly. And with the new Vulture Aid augment, Armor-matic, and Golden Armor in Cursed, you effectively have constant immunity from the back.
