New bios allowed me to increase the power limit to 142% which gave the card extra clock speed and I can now benefit from the maximum available memory speed (+2000 mhz) flawlessly. It withdraws around 260w during benchmarks at 63c and 280w at 75c in stress tests (I didn't let it run long). 220w was max in stock bios.
OCCT doesn't show any errors at 2970 mhz.
In fact stock bios had a coil whine which is removed by the new bios.
Ranked 1st in Steel Nomad. Timespy gpu score is 23k.
I am very happy with results, gives a decent fps boost in games.
