Hi everyone!
I recently built a new PC with an Intel Core i9-13900KS, but I’m running into some issues with undervolting on my ASRock Z790 NOVA WIFI motherboard.
When I disable all power limits in BIOS, the voltage during stress testing stays around 1.360V (sometimes spikes up to 1.408V), while VID shows only 1.168–1.216V.
I tried using an offset undervolt, but even at -0.1V, Cinebench scores dropped by a few thousand points with the same actual voltage. I set LLC Level 3 (since Levels 1 and 2 are unavailable), and experimented with AC/DC Load Line values — but there are no visible changes either in benchmarks or in HWiNFO. VID changes slightly, but Vcore doesn’t move at all.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or knows which settings actually affect undervolting on this board?
Also, which section controls it — FIVR Configuration or Voltage Configuration?
Maybe there are some voltage protection features enabled that override AC Load Line and push extra volts on top?
